Working Lining Solutions for Coreless Induction Furnaces

The working lining of an induction furnace must be made of a refractory material capable of withstanding thermal shock, high temperatures, abrasion, chemical attack, and other stresses encountered during operation. Saint-Gobain Performance Ceramics & Refractories India is a pioneer in introducing HeatKing™ Neutral Ramming Mass (NRM)-based working lining solutions to the Indian market.

With decades of experience, we have gained deep insights into charge mixes, metal melting processes, slag chemistry, and furnace behavior, allowing us to design refractories tailored to these specific requirements.

We offer a range of tailored working lining solutions under the HeatKing™ brand for induction furnaces of all sizes—from very small units (with furnace sizes of 50 kg) to some of the largest steel manufacturers in India (with furnace sizes up to 50 tons or more). Our solutions accommodate diverse charge mixes such as DRI, scrap, furnace jams, and other charge materials; various operating schedules (both intermittent and continuous 24/7); and specialized operations such as dephosphorization.
