Saint-Gobain Performance Ceramics and Refractories in US obtains Silver ecovadis certification in 2022
We are proud to announce the results of the 2022 evaluation of our sustainability actions by the independent organization ecovadis.
With a score of 57/100, our thee US plants in Worcester, Niagara Falls and Latrobe have obtains silver ecovadis certification. This puts the plants in the 73rd percentile of companies within our sector, in terms of sustainability.
What is ecovadis?

Ecovadis is an independent organization that evaluates companies' corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance according to four main criteria: Environment, Social & Human Rights, Ethics and Responsible Purchasing. We are pleased to announce that we have achieved a silver ecovadis rating for our activities and manufacturing of refractory products and technical ceramics in our US based sites. This is a 16% improvement of our ecovadis rating compared to 2019 and shows our commitment to ESG and sustainable development. This ecovadis rating puts us in the 73rd percentile of companies within our sector. Congrats to our three sites!”
