Beams

Engineered Ceramics Product

Beams are available in at least three different materials, namely Silit® SKD - siliconized silicon carbide; N-Durance® nitride bonded silicon carbide, and Hexoloy® SE sintered silicon carbide. Beams can be made in large selections of cross-sections, wall thickness and lengths (up to 4 m) using slip-casting or extrusion process. As-fired beams can be used "as-is" or finished to customer’s tolerances. Applications include structural support in high temperature processes, and metrology equipment.

Our products are designed to withstand high temperatures (up to 1.800°C) and severe operating conditions.
