Carbofrax CC1140 Castable
CC 1140 is a castable refractory composed primarily of high purity silicon carbide grain. This composition was developed for non-ferrous applications including contact with molten aluminum and aluminum dross. CC 1140 develops excellent strength with increased temperature. CC 1140 has a very high coefficient of thermal conductivity, which makes this material an excellent choice as a general purpose castable where heat dissipation is required.
