Saint-Gobain Performance Ceramics & Refractories technologists were among the first in the world to combine isostatic pressing and nitride bonding technologies, and remain at the forefront of this technology today. This enables us to manufacture a range of thinwalled protection tubes for both electric and gas heating applications. Our range of heater protection tubes have high mechanical integrity and homogeneity, together with high emissivity and thermal conductivity at elevated operating temperatures. Saint-Gobain Performance Ceramics & Refractories Cryston® NICARB material remains unchallenged on performance and value for arduous applications.
Our tubes provide an efficient way to electrically heat aluminium holding furnaces without risk of premature element failure due to aluminium splash and corundum growth, or heating by recuperative gas fired systems. They are available in various diameters, wall thicknesses and lengths up to 1200mm, please contact us if you have a non standard requirement. -
