Sintered Silicon Carbide Thermocouple Protection Tubes

Hexoloy® SE sintered silicon carbide thermocouple protection tubes are extruded and closed on one end.

Tubes are produced in a wide range of diameters and lengths. Saint-Gobain Performance Ceramics & Refractories’ team of experts is on hand to discuss any custom sizing requirements.

The closed end is typically round, however larger diameters such as 1.5” tubes have a pointed tip. Hexoloy® SE tubes have thin walls versus other ceramic materials, enabling fast thermal response of the sensor.
