- Anchorage to the tube wall is achieved via threaded bolts with round washers manufactured from heat-resistant steel.
- A backfilling mix of Refrax® Plusflow ensures high thermal conductivity and added protection against flue gases and anchor corrosion. This self flowing and self-compacting SiC concrete is specifically formulated to fill a defined gap between the tile and the tube wall, ensuring optimal contact with the wall and offering a second layer of protection.
- Tube walls in the ceiling area can be backfilled with the self flowing SiC concrete if the angles are greater than 15°. Angles smaller than 15° should be laid using SiC mortar such as Refrax® PROmor.
- Ceramic fiber gaskets compensate for movement in the boiler, distributing stress evenly.
I can confirm once again the Saint-Gobain T-Clip® PRO tile system is extremely effective in our Boiler. With three years of service since the original installation, we have no issues and as we observed its still in perfect condition. Using the T-Clip® PRO tile system has proven very effective for us protecting the tube wall & eliminating the issues we had previously. It is highly recommended and we are pleased to have had this system introduced to us.
Actually, we are now at the stage where all sections requiring reline are complete, so will only need very limited spares in the future, but following the positive experience working with you & Saint-Gobain, we will look for other areas where we can collaborate and solve any problems we have.

We, CTRASA, recommend the use of Saint-Gobain’s T-Clip® PRO tile system after successful evaluation in our waste to energy plant.
The first trials in 2011 were positive and the tile system was observed in good condition during the following years.
The T-Clip® PRO tile system has proven its excellent efficiency in our boiler and we continue to use this system for the refractory lining during our technical shutdowns.

I can confirm once again that the Saint-Gobain T-Clip® PRO tile system in Refrax® TOP is extremely effective in protecting the combustion chamber tubewalls at our EfW in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
The first part installation was more than six years ago in 2016 and we have experienced no issues with the product. All subsequent system installations to fully protect the combustion chamber tubing has proven to be very stable, this was evident during the recent March ’23 24 monthly major outage. Linings in the boilers overall are in excellent condition and have contributed to us burning longer with extended periods between outages as previously noted.
Using T-Clip®PRO system in Refrax® TOP has proven very effective for us, protecting the tube wall and eliminating the regular large-scale repairs that were previously necessary when we had installed other products. I can highly recommend T-Clip® PRO system in Refrax® TOP and we are pleased to have Saint-Gobain as our material supply partner.
